Coconut investigates technologies for implementing highly concurrent Internet services. All projects are licensed under the Apache License Version 2.0 and requires a Java SE 5 JVM (or later) to run.
Coconut Cache is an in-memory Java based caching framework. It has no external dependencies and available as a single jar. While it only supports in-memory caching currently. Disk-based storing and distributed caching will be available in future releases.
