Derby database creation
It would be nice to look at two derby properties (derby.locks.deadlockTimeout and derby.locks.waitTimeout ). Actually, the database creation take 2 minutes due to 2 timeouts of 1 minute (probably with default value of derby.locks.waitTimeout with a default of 60s).
