This page outlines profiling test results for an example query.

Query: select price, min(price) as minPrice from MarketDataBean.win:time(30) having price >= min(price) * (1.02)

Test 1 - 5k/sec throughput

  • 5000 events per second
  • internal timer
  • 1950 seconds run time
  • 128m heap
  • jconsole

Test 2 - external clocking with higher throughput

  • 100k events  per 30 second window
  • external timer, sending timer event every 100k events adding 30 seconds each
  • 100k * 725 batches = 72.5M in 30 minutes
  • 128m heap
  • jconsole
