GBean Project Launched

The GBean project forms to provide a small server framework without forcing the use of APIs or the choice of an IoC provider. The initial feature set includes support for multiple IoC systems, support for running with no IoC system, JMX without JMX, lifecycle and class loader management, and a rock solid Spring integration.

Geronimo Kernel Bridge

Work has been completed on a bridge from the GBean kernel contracts to the Geronimo kernel contracts. A Geronimo server can be fully operated using only a GBean kernel. An experimental Geronimo server assembly using the GBean Spring based kernel can be found here.
