Recent Development
For the 2.2.x branch the Oracle module has:
- Fixed several issues with the SDO utility class
- Started using the SDO Utility class for FeatureSource opperations, this work will be completed for the 2.2.x release
There are also several warnings that must be made:
- you need to download a driver from oracle directly, we have not obtained rights to distribute their jdbc driver
- the createSchema method does not yet work
- the SRID mapping to CRS works for our test server, but I have no idea what you need to do to set it up for yourself
- the use of the oracle metadata to optimize opperations such as getBounds has only just begun
