Description

The Mirah plugin enables compiling Ruby-like code straight to Java bytecode.

Installation

The current version of griffon-mirah-plugin is 0.1
To install just issue the following command

Usage

Mirah source code should be placed in $appdir/src/mirah using .mirah as file extension. Sources will be compiled first before any sources available on griffon-app or src/main which means you can't reference any of those sources from your Mirah code, while the Groovy sources can. You will be able to use the LangBridge Plugin facilities to communicate with other JVM languages.

It is possible to implement Griffon artifacts using Mirah. Here's a trivial Model implementation as an example

griffon-app/models/sample/SampleModel.mirah

This plugin does not add runtime dependencies to Mirah nor JRuby.
