Groovy 1.6.3 is out

The Groovy development team is happy to announce the release of Groovy 1.6.3.

You can have a look at the JIRA change log report for further details.

Groovy 1.6.3 is mainly a maintenance release.

Among other things, if you look at the JIRA issues closed, you'll see for instance:

  • bug fixes in our AST transformations and with some GPath inconsistencies
  • improvements to Swing builder's binding mechanism
  • Maven classifiers support in Grape
  • memory consumption improvements
  • and more.

You can download the Groovy distribution at the usual place.

Thanks to all those who contributed to this release: Roshan, Paul, Danno, Andres, Jochen, Alex, et al.!
