The Groovy development team has just released Groovy 1.6.5.
This new release is mainly a bug-fix release, no significant new feature in this version.
A second beta of our upcoming Groovy 1.7 branch will also be released very soon.

You can download Groovy at the usual place.

And you can learn more about all the bugs fixed in our JIRA release notes.

Thanks to everybody who contributed to that release, and thanks to our user community for its always great and constructive feedback for improving Groovy.

Enjoy and have a nice weekend!

    hi

    i ve very interesting errors

first of all I would like to tell that I am installing it for more than 10 hrs alr.

my computer is running on Vista Home Premium (64 bits)

    I have JDK 5 Update 20 and JDK 6 update 16 ... I have both....

I have been installing both Groovy 1.6.5 and 1.6.4 and got some interesting errors

    1) when i install Groovy 1.6.5 the error msg is  " cannot identify java installation... assuming 32 bits version "
    2) when i install Groovy 1.6.4 the error msg is " the program might not have been installed properly " and lemme choose 2
    i) to reinstall
    ii) it is installed properly

(sometimes it doesn't show but never start working when i click on start groovy console )

I don't know what is going on yet. I have to submit my course work on monday.. so hopefully someone will reply me soon enough ^^
