All GumTree deliverables and some third party libraries are delivered with source code (except for Eclipse related plug-ins). You can use the Eclipse IDE to browse and modify the source code that is attached with GumTree.
Instructions:
- Download and extract GumTree into a directory (for example, C:\Program Files)
- Start Eclipse, and go to the preferences dialog (Window->Preferences->Plug-in Development->Target Platform)
- Change the location of your target platform to GumTree (for example, C:\Program Files\gumtree)
- Press reload to load all GumTree plug-ins into the development environment
- Open the "Plug-ins" view
- Select the GumTree plug-in(s) that you are interest in, and right click to Import As -> Source Project
