Overview
Codehaus offers a general purpose distribution site that has been historically used to distribute all manner of artifacts produced by projects. While this repository follows the Maven 1 layout, this is not mandated.
Public Access
This repository is publically accessible at http://dist.codehaus.org/.
Developer Access
Project developers may update this location using WebDAV - please see Xircles for connection information.
Snapshots
There is also a snapshot distribution site at http://snapshots.dist.codehaus.org/ that should be used for temporary distributions. This repository is NOT synced with maven.org / ibiblio.org and as such is an EXCELLENT location to put temporary artifacts such as the output from nightly builds. Please cleanup after yourselves so that we don't have to.
Synchronisation
This area is synchronised with maven.org; which in turn updates many large mirror repositories (such as http://ibiblio.org/
Note: at this time, the synchronisation of this repository is not occurring due to a transitioon of maven.org's servers.
