JRuby's Day In The Sun
Charles Oliver Nutter and Thomas Enebo, the two core JRuby developers, will become employees at Sun Microsystems this month. Their charge will be to work full-time on JRuby, rounding out performance and compatibility goals and making Ruby on the JVM as fast and clean as possible. Check out the blogosphere for more posts about this exciting turn of events. This can only be good for Ruby, JRuby, and dynamic languages on the JVM. We're very excited about this new future!
