  1. Discuss proposed changes on the mapbuilder-devel email list before starting.
  2. If you add a new feature, create a bug report to note what you have changed. We use bug reports to track the changes between builds.
  3. Don't commit any code if it break existing functionality.
  4. Test your updates in both Internet Explorer 6+ and Mozilla based browsers. We are committed to supporting both browsers and functionality that doesn't work in both should not be added.
  5. Don't create a new CVS directory without first discussing on the email list. Directories are very hard to remove from CVS if you get it wrong.
