Purpose: To tell people how to download the MapBuilder product and how to select which file is appropriate.

Development Release - 1.5 (Release Candidate 2)

Community MapBuilder Release 1.5-rc2 was made public on Apr 27, 2008 . For more release notes, information on expected release dates, release functionality and issues please refer to the Project planning page. This release is mainly a bug fix general code cleanup release, ensuring compatibility with Firefox 3 and Internet Explorer 7. If you are upgrading from an older release, please refer to http://communitymapbuilder.org/display/MAP/Upgrading+from+pre-1.5.

When downloading you have a choice to three versions:

.zip download

If you want to simply deploy Mapbuilder in your website, use this release.

war download

If you want to deploy Mapbuilder inside a Java based website or together with geoserver, use this release.

src download

This release retains the javascript and XSL comments, which makes the code much easier to read.

Stable - Release 1.0.1

Community MapBuilder Release 1.0.1 was made public on July 19, 2006 . For more information on expected release dates, release functionality and issues please refer to the Project planning page.

We currently recommend that you use the latest release - version 1.0.1. When downloading you have a choice to three versions:
