Purpose: Allow potential users of MapBuilder products to use it in various contexts before commiting to use MapBuilder for their own project.

mapBuilder will work with the following browsers: Firefox 1.0+, Internet Explorer 6.0+, Mozilla 1.3+ and Navigator 6+. Since rev.4052 Opera 9.5 and Safari  are supported. Since rev.4067 also WebKit Browsers like Apple Safari or Google Chrome are supported.

GeoConnections Discovery Portal is a search engine for the discovery of, and access to, geospatial data and services.  Also create your own maps using the Web Mapping Tool based on the MapBuilder Context Editor demo.

  1. Please check out http://aims.sadc.int and http://gisportal.sadc.int/lwgis, a land and water information system for Southern Africa, developed entirely with open-source software ( MapBuilder, PostGIS, Django). The site is hosted at the main SADC Office in Gaborone, Botswana.
