we hope to distribute the first beta release of MDweb 2 Java/JEE implementation in few days.
This version beta will be use for tests purposes only. The features of beta version are :
- A new and very friendly search client with a strong interaction between search form and cartographic results
- An implementation of CSW 2.0.2 web catalog service (100 % OGC compliant) : client and server
- A new metadata base on Postgresql RDBMS redesign to improve performance of search and storage of any schema of metadata standard (ISO 19115, 119, 110, Dublin Core, SensorML and EbRIM are including)
- a prototype of administration panel (Java SWING) to provide :
- Configuration of MDweb database and thesaurii database
- Converter to import a MDweb 1.5 and 1.6 database onto MDweb 2.0 database
- an CSW 2.0.2 (compliant with CSW 2.0.0, 2.0.1 version) harvester
- XML ISO 19139 Import/Export Module
- CSW Cascading module (only between MDweb CSW for the moment)
