You just got an email with a link to this page because you sent an email to a mailing list that was moderated.
Given the name of emails that get moderated this generic page has been created as an easier way to explain what happened that writing a bit explanation in the email every time.
What happened was that you sent an email to the list without using the same from address as you subscribed with. This typically happens if you've subscribed with your home email address and replies to an email from work thus using another from address.
To prevent this from happening again make sure that you always send email to the list with the correct from address. Most emails won't be allowed through as it won't make people use the correct email in the first place and will continue to bug the moderators.
