NEO License

From what I can see NEO uses the LGPL license. This is 'viral' in that projects that use NEO then need to go LGPL/GPL. So I can't use NEO in a commercial product because of this license. Is this the intention or can you use a less contentious license?

It is correct that Neo is licensed under the LGPL. However, this does not mean that a project which uses Neo also needs to be licensed under LGPL or even the GPL. Actually, you are perfectly free to sell closed source software that uses Neo. For further details, have a look at Google...
