Documentation

• Make sure version number for the documentation matches the release (title page and footnote)
• Make sure the documentation covers the new features
  • in the overview of new features
  • in the body of the documentation
• Create PDF from documentation
• Add in the font list to the documentation
• Add in the list of characters and symbols to PDF.

Software

• Update the version number literal in the Platypus.resources file
• Update the version number literal in the build.xml file
• Make a copy/branch of the current trunk in the tag directory
• Build the product
• Run the tests
• Verify that it contains a pristine config file
• Add documentation to the output file
• Install and verify the package on Linux
• Install and verify the package on Windows

Website

• Add new features to the front page at http://platypus.pz.org
• Put the download into the download area (binaries+docs and docs only) Note: See Javadoc entry below.
• Update download page to point to the new downloads
• Update milestones page and post it to site

• Download code
• Create zip file of code
• Create Javadoc
• Zip Javadoc
• Zip code and Javadoc
• Put zip file into download area
• Update website download link

Mailing list

• Compose announcement to mailing list.
• Send announcement to mailing list.
