Here are the current ideas on how to rejuvenate xplanner looks
Page structure
View/Action Links
The current links at the end of each page would be changed to:
- tabs for different facets of the same entity (iteration: stories, tasks, accuracy, metrics, history...)
- action links for the element (iteration: start/stop, delete, move)
- table element actions (add, remove, move)
Tables
- Tables would get a multi-selection actions so we can apply the same action on multiple elements. Either a more desktop client selection or a webbish select input on each line would do the trick
- Inline editing will be made to be triggered on double click and would not resize columns
- Tables would have a configurable layout stored persistently (either cookie or user config in db)
- A new style sheet would compact the display and would allow more space for the most important columns.
- Table actions would use icons as much as possible
