We would like to use the release:perform goal to deploy the prod= uct of our maven-assembly plugin rather than deploy the projects artefact.<= /p>=20
We have a WAR project, but like to build different ZIP assemblies for ea= ch of our clients due to variations in content. This means that we are not = interested in deploying the WAR, but would prefer to be able to FTP the ZIP= to a staging environment, in much the same way as the WAR is deployed.= =20
It would be nice to have a simple way to choose to deploy the asse= mbly as well as or instead of the WAR (or other artefcat).
