<h1>Introduction</h1>

<p>This space should serve as a collection point for practices related to building OSGi bundles, whether they be Eclipse plugins, Felix bundles, or what have you. I've outlined some potential limitations with Maven that should be addressed in some way before the Eclipse platform/RCP/equinox projects can be built using Maven. That list is here:</p>

<p>Hopefully, if we can gather enough information on how OSGi is built in the world, we can come up with a solution for building these bundles in Maven that is applicable to the widest audience possible. We'll post links to this area for design reviews on possible solutions that could be included in Maven 2.1 or later, based on discussion here.</p>
