To install 2.0.1 into Eclipse 3.5, you can update from the milestone update site you may already be using or define the following release URL to your Eclipse update manager:
Support for Eclipse 3.5.2
This release of Groovy-Eclipse can be installed into Eclipse 3.5.2.
There is one significant new feature that should be described for this release.
Filter Groovy internal stack frames
Under the covers, Groovy uses reflection to achieve much of its dynamicism. This can be problematic when using the Eclipse debugger since all of the internal stack frames are exposed to the user. There is a new option in Groovy-Eclipse to de-emphasize these stack frames and highlight show user stack frames:
Notice how the user stack frames are in black. This option can be enabled/disabled and tweaked from the Groovy -> Debugger preferences page:
