Comment: Migrated to Confluence 5.3
Provisioning projects is available since version 4.0.

Provisioning a project allows you to declare and configure it (define permissions, set quality profiles, etc.) before running the first analysis.

Provisioning a Project

To be able to provision projects, you have to be logged in and be granted the Provision Projects permission.

To provision a new project, go to Settings > Provisioning and click on Create. The only information to provide are the key and the name of your project.

Once the project is provisioned, you can configure it (define permissions, set quality profiles, etc.). All the items of the Configuration menu are accessible:

When you're finished with the configuration, just run the first analysis of the project.

Advanced Settings

  • You can force projects to be provisioned before being analyzed. To do so, go to Settings > General Settings > Security and set the Prevent automatic project creation property to true.
  • You can also provision and configure projects using the Web Service API.
