Welcome to GeoTools Development
The procedures used by the GeoTools Development community are captured in our developers guide which represents a good place to start if you are new to working on the GeoTools library itself. If you would just like to use the GeoTools library please consult our user guide.
We would like to thank all the organizations that support this project by providing facilities.
Ideas, references, blue-sky discussions
Looking for a great idea ? Or perhaps you've got one and want to share it. We've set up a GeoTools group on CiteULike where you can search or browse our library of interesting papers, articles, code snippets etc. and contribute your own.
To join the GeoTools group first register with CiteULike here. Note, there is no need to register with CiteULike to browse the GeoTools group. A CiteULike login is only required if you want to contribute to the library and the associated blog.
Adding content to the CiteULike library
Here is the easiest way to add references for papers, conference proceedings, articles etc. to GeoTools library...
- Set up an account with CiteULike
- Join the GeoTools group
- Go to this page and add browser button for CiteULike posting. This is just a bookmark rather than a software install. It's convenient to have it on your browser's bookmark toolbar. There are two bookmark options, one of which launches a pop-up window when you are posting an article. Choose this one because it will give you the option of posting to the GeoTools library rather than just your own library.
- Go forth and collect lots of useful items for the library !
