We are pleased to release Groovy-Eclipse 2.0.1. 2.0.1 is primarily a service refresh of 2.0.0. We have fixed over 40 issues in this release.

Groovy-Eclipse update site


To install 2.0.1 into Eclipse 3.5, you can update from the milestone update site you may already be using or define the following release URL to your Eclipse update manager:

Filter unnecessary stack frames.

Under the covers, Groovy uses reflection to achieve much of its dynamicism. This can be problematic when using the Eclipse debugger since all of the internal stack frames are exposed to the user. There is a new option in Groovy-Eclipse to de-emphasize these stack frames and only show user stack frames:
