GumTree instrument specific applications are the GumTree that runs on the neutron beam instruments. Each instrument provides a workbench application for client side data acquisition and reduction, and a server application for web monitoring.

GumTree runtime is the minimal code base to start the GumTree system. It can be upgraded to workbench or server by placing plugins into its dropins folder.
