Reporting bugs

If you think you have found a bug in Janino, proceed as follows:

  • If it is a compilation problem, verify that SUN's JavaTM compiler JAVAC also believes it is one.
  • Try to isolate the problem. Don't send me huge source files; attempt, if at all possible, to reproduce the problem with the ExpressionDemo, ScriptDemo and ClassBodyDemo command-line tools.
  • Issue a bug report on CODEHAUS's JIRA system. Please state which version of Janino you were using, what you did, what you expected to happen and what actually happened.

Requesting support

If you experience problems with downloading, installing or using Janino, turn to the JANINO mailing list.

Requesting new features

Please issue feature requests on the JANINO mailing list.
