In order to generate a Server ID, log in as an administrator and go to Settings > Configuration > General Settings > Server ID (was Configuration > General Settings > Server ID for Sonar < 3.4).
From there follow the below procedure.
 | Organisation The 'Organisation' field must not contain any special characters (such as 'é', '/', etc.). Make sure to use only letters [A-Za-z], digits [0-9] and spaces. |
