Geotools is an open source Java GIS toolkit for developing standards compliant solutions. It provides an implementation of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) specifications as they are developed. Geotools maintains an open development process, with public collaboration on new ideas . Project communication is open to all , and we welcome new contributions . If you are a first time user, the getting started page in the users guide is a good place to begin learning about Geotools. A general feature list and some screenshots of Geotools in action are also available. Current releases can be found on the downloads page. |
