The Milyn Project is building Open-Source Java components for performing Data Transformation and Analysis.
Smooks allows you to mix and match different technologies within the context of a single message transform, but does so in a way that provides a degree of isolation between the different technologies. This helps to maintain the portability of your transformation/analysis logic.
Other Milyn Components
An EDI to SAX Event Parser. Process an EDI message using XML Tools/APIs.
A component for performing browser recognition and browser profiling in a J2EE Servlet Container.
A component for parsing Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) data into a Document Object Model (DOM).
