Recent Development and Status
Status on 2.2.x
For the stable 2.2.x branch the Styling package has:
- Been brought into agreement with SLD 1.0 (it was tracking an old version)
- Been brought into method agreement with GeoAPI style interfaces
- QA Check: Had to sort out Factory issues
Status on 2.3.x
No change yet, Cory has permission to "fix" the GeoAPI interfaces and remove a lot of the method duplication currently in the API. At such time he may follow the lead of Expression and offer us an exit stratagy.
Example exit stratagy:
- use GeoAPI interfaces in GeoTools
- have our interfaces extend GeoAPI interfaces
- deprecate our interfaces
