The name Jencks comes from the daddy of JCA, David Jencks. David wrote most of the JBoss JCA and the Geronimo JCA containers and what David doesn't know about JCA is probably not worth knowing (smile) So given his immense contribution to the world of JCA we felt it was only fitting we named the Spring JCA project after David (smile)
